Caring for me was founded by Corinne and Terri, a mother and daughter, following Terri’s cancer diagnosis in 2009 aged 18 years.
Along the way Judith Reeve and Sandra Postma have joined in the running of the services, as well as in various fundraising endeavours. However, they also couldn't operate without their wider team of many loyal friends and supporters.
Since setting up ‘Caring for me’ they have offered many people in Suffolk the ability to benefit from restorative treatments helping support them through and after their cancer diagnosis.
‘As a family we know how vulnerable you can feel facing the shock of knowing you have cancer. Our intention is to help others through a course of relaxing and therapeutic treatment to ease the situation they face’ Corinne Peacock.
They are delighted that their services have evolved and they are now part of CCiS Community Complementary Therapies. Their developments are also due to working collaboratively with therapists, Woodbridge Complementary Health Centre and Art For Cure.
